Comment by O Fairy on Tuesday

Pitter, patter,

Pitter, patter.

The rain dances softly

On the roof tops.

It starts in a light drizzle

And ends up raining like

Sheet's of cool droplets.

The dark grey clouds smile over

The dancing rain,

Which skids down gutters.

When it hails, the rain races to the

Ground in a contest.

It tip toes in little puddles

And splashes around in rivers.

As the rain quiet's,

To go to sleep,

A rainbow appears to show the

End of the rains

Playful games.

The swaying willows

Dance to the wind.

The clouds are grey

And fill the sky above.

The water droplets skidding

Down leaves

And the hail drumming

A tune of misery.

Crickets leaped

For safety under a

Shattered apple tree.

The miserable barking dog

Is overpowered by

The melancholy

Of the rain, hail

And wind.

Their monotonous

Beat like a drum

In the wind

Beating with the

Blue breeze.

The leaves dancing

Past dove nests.

A day where I'm

Sad, miserable and

Alone,

All alone...

MEMORIES (Thank you Morney)

Cold as ice
thinking once
thinking twice

flashing signs
reflections cold
stories untold

burning embers
bitter glow
lost Novembers

distant time
another conclusion
wasted design

Yesterday away
empty void
past decay

Memories journey
silent motion
present enemy

I CAN'T (Thank you Morney)

I can't be a clown
I'm too serious to be one
real as the rising sun

I can act like a fool
just a fool for love and all beautiful
an endless giving school

I can't be a joker
as we either want to live a joke or live life truly
no moments of mediocre

I can only let words be a reflection of my heart and soul
that is where our beauty and life lies
a flowering coal

no collected earthly treasures
the biggest is that what we can feel
in a moment real

I can't pretend to be a rich
wealth is in our heart with all that God gave
a little simple small everyday to enrich

I can't pretend to be a work of art
I'm merely beautiful at heart
God gave us all a special part

I can't pretend that I will flood you with wealth
I can only flood you with love abundantly
as the ocean tides welt on the shore

I can't pretend that I would never leave your side
you a part a I couldn't hide
a walk on clouds in the sky blue

I can't say I would make you feel complete
together we would be joined in unity
all struggles we will defeat

I can't promise you shiny things
only the beauty out of each other we would bring
just sweet music made with our harmonious strings

CHASING A DREAM

The pace at which u do so matters

Some say slow down, some complain that you're taking too long

The dream stands still, waiting for u to reach

You wonder if you should be chasing the dream or be reaching for it

After all chasing something doesn't mean you will get it

From a close friend

Do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Rose are Red, Violets are Blue

What is all this gunk on my shoe?

Who Ever Loved, That Loved Not at First Sight?

It lies not in our power to love or hate,
For will in us is overruled by fate.
When two are stripped, long ere the course begin,
We wish that one should love, the other win;
And one especially do we affect
Of two gold ingots, like in each respect:
The reason no man knows, let it suffice,
What we behold is censured by our eyes.
Where both deliberate, the love is slight:
Who ever loved, that loved not at first sight?

Tall Pine

Upon her crystal shores... waves of shimmering light.
Part of a larger symphony near water's edge.
Under tall pine a leaf gently spirals to the ground.
A small note... unheard by most. A piece of that song.

A myriad of light from so far away... but really not so far.
A glimmer highlights the base of tall pine.
Blending with the fallen leaf's song.
A neighbor's melody of change.

A different forest. A new time.
Within the sounds... a symphony.
Within the rhythm... a remembrance.
A note heard by those who choose to listen.

Touched by a myriad of lights.
Reflecting upon a small leaf.
Sounds blending under tall pine.
Dancing around a tree... upon crystal shores
