UNDERSTANDING, working as a team no individual playas, committment, trust and obviously being open, your partner must be able to feel free to talk 2 u anytime about anyting thus having no secrets..supporty and realising dat none of u r perfect but need to wrk together to strive 4 perfection thus wrking together thru each others faults..

Sweetie there's some knowledge they don't teach in college. Priests and psychologists will be unemployed if they do.
There's no such thing as a tension free relationship. We are political animals. Power drunk. Two people sharing so much will always struggle to get the upper hand over each other. It's true for any kind of relationship. Parents and children. Brothers and sisters. Friends. Lovers. Neighbours. Colleagues.
Relationships are about compromise. Seeing the other's point of view. Caring for the other person as much if not more than yourself.
Not for the hardheaded, disagreeable and uncaring!
What's needed is commitment and the determination to stay even when everything's not perfect.
