What makes me tick. Good question. Lets start with what makes me angry: I hate lies, Dishonesty, mind games and pretenders. Be what you are and dont pretend. Be honest and should you make a mistake be honest and brave enough to admit it. i will forgive and keep on trusting. What I like: Being comfortable with people, great minds, poetry, nature, down to earth people, small things that counts and most of all I love life itself.

Couldnt have said it better myself Mona... the little things that happen every day really is the essence of my happiness. Also, I think if many people need to learn to love themselves - that in itself is the key to deep happiness. As for the things that make you angry - yes people who pretend and lie does make me really angry too - simply because it so rather hurtful to the ones around them
Hen - biltong mmmmmmmm (speaking of small things ) hehehe , that is exactly the type of small thing that can make your day. Or finding that favourite track on a cd you forgot you had.... be wary of putting your happiness in the hands of a someone special - they sometimes have the power to take that happiness and convert it into infinite sadness, as you now see. Focus on the biltong sweetie and forget the someone special (( beeg hug ))

Awwwhhh... You are so sweet Fluffs, do you know that? We have to take each day as special, each incident as a learning period. Like you say first start by loving oneselves. It doesn't mean it has to stop there. Love is whithin reach of us all. We sometimes expect to much from others and then push them away in the process. We do have choices. We can forever seek perfectness or accept what we can have and make the most of it, or stay alone and get a hobby.Choice is ours. We have to make peace and start living as if we won't be alive tomorrow. Grab your cute neighbour and kiss him till his toes curls up!

A positive outlook on life is always something i find attractive - that and a great sense of humour. Also a ability to follow a intelligent conversation. What puts me off..... lies and deceit is it really.

The good Lord made two genders, male and female. What makes me tick is when the female gender act like they are meant to. Might be that I am old fashioned or even a chauvanist but nothing puts me off more than when a woman tries to act like "one of the boys" and uses language that any self respecting person should not use in mixed company. It might be the changing times but when I was growing up bad language was never used in front of women and the only women that used that type of language were cnsidered to have come from the wrong side of the tracks, in other words they lacked the finer upbringing. What I find attractive in a women, besides their God given attractions, a sense of humour, and the ability to realise that sometimes the male specis needs a little help.
