What is the South African Criteria to make friends?

Why as is it for a South African so difficult to make friends with his own people, what is the South African criteria? Please guys help me I am totaly lost in Pretoria?

Well put AbuHishaam.

Friendship takes some effort. You have to be a friend to get friends. If you are angry at the world, don't get along with others, aren't interesting and unwilling to expand yourself, you will stay friendless.

We also have to deal with the fact that some people will not like you.
