what does 14 feb mean? coz its the same as every days,you can't show someone that you love him/her ones in the year,you must show him/her every day don't wait for 14 feb or on his/her birth day.

It's just another capitalist plot to rob the poor from their hard earned money.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't treat your partner extra well on that day. If you don't make sure your dog has a large kennel.

wel for me it is the day of freedom of speech where i hav no limits to ask my luvd one for more luvin and spending sum quality time together. but this tym i plan on givin him a treat by making him the best food ever. i hope he likes it. who knws mayb i myt add a lil bit extra, lol..................

Personally I think Valentines day has become so commercialised. The real meaning, like Christmas is forgotten. But as for us women, we are emotional beings. Even thou you think you do show her love every day of the year, it does make us feel very special when we are remembered in a special way on Valentine's day. Maybe the hype has raised an expectation, it could make us feel very disappointed if we are passed over. It is something very small for you to make an effort, so just go for it. It could mean a lot to your lady.

Come on Khathuchero, if you think you have to spend a fortune on your lady, think again. It is the small things that count, a concerted effort, just to remember, think of her for one day out of your egotistical schedule. Believe me, you could have her eating out of your hand if you show her that she is special.
By the way the best gift I have been given was a frangipani flower, picked by my very manly partner, at a wedding. He very gently placed it in my hair. Wow, that has not only made my day, but given me confidence for the rest of my life, just because I know, how much effort it must have taken to do that, at the risk of embarrasing himself. I don't see him any more but he will always be remembered for his selfless action.
