The prez seems like a very happy man. Since I don't practice polygamy myself I cannot tell you if its good or not. Next time I end up in Utah I will ask some old school Mormons!
One wife to a husband...thats the way to go,i can never understand why and how a woman can share her man .........if its good or bad only people who indulge in this way of life will know.
On second thought Swaziland may be closer and more affordable than the trip to Utah! Looking at King Mswati11, Hugh Hefner, the Sheikhs of Arabia and our favourite, the Prez I can only think that it's an ego and status thing. The extra wives don't really mean more sex or variety, otherwise JZ would not be looking outside. Nor is there that much Viagra to go around. The kids probably belong to the bodyguards who actually have the time and opportunity!

It's a case of culture going wrong in the 21st century. We don't have enough space to collect cows anymore, so wives have to do. Sorry ladies, don't take the analogy too far!
Polygamy exists in Islam, traditional societies and in a few new religious movements ( formerly known as cults ). For all I know it probably works very well in rural societies or in families where everybody is engaged in the same enterprise.

Polygamy appears in the old testament ( Jewish Bible ). They did the concubine, bonds woman thing too. The new testament ( Christian Bible ) encourages having one wife, provided you cannot control your sexuality.

The true Christian way is celibacy, but that's for better people than most of us!
God created 1 man 1 woman!

if many people get out of the way,it doesn't mean God will change his principles.the profecy say at the end of the days, many woman wil share 1 man, they wil b gays, shaking of earth, kids will make kids, young people will disobey elders and states will fight each other. we r not supriced. but it doesnt mean God condome this things. he wil judge.

Dave...Dave...that's like saying...One tree...one apple. Yes..God created one woman, one man...that's the ideal situation. That was for a purpose of initiating His creation in an orderly fashion. Besides, if it took one woman to have man kicked out of Paradise, imagine what may have been the result if the first man had more than one? One was enough then. Now times have changed. So have people. It is wiser to appreciate rules and laws of nature and acknowledge and accept exceptions to the rules and laws of nature. Man is a unique creature who has proven his ability to conduct multiple relationships at once. In most cases, even without been caught out if he be one who knows the game and tries to please more than one woman other than making just one all sad and miserable. The cycle of sharing more than one wife can be better understood as laid out by brother Bodhiharma herein.
no,no

Just to throw a spanner in the wheel. There's a tribe in Tibet where the women have more than one husband! It works for them.

The Inuit ( Eskimo ) were also very generous with their wives. Sharing them with others. The French have their menage a trois.

There's also a modern thing called polyamory. Loving a lot of people romantically or sexually.

Now I don't know where these people received their wisdom from, but my guess is that they just came up with a solution to what was a practical problem!
but your viagra bill might go up!

There are a lot of things that worry me about the dude, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He's not conversant in the Queen's language.
