It was here. How do you feel this morning?
The Fifa circus has left town. The games were as exciting as any Shakespearian play. Even I took a liking to the nancy game. Bafana Bafana lasted longer than anybody thought. Held their own against Mexico and won against France. A big applause is in order. Not sure what will happen to the stadiums now, but I guess they can sleep a few thousand homeless people. The stadium in Rustenburg will puzzle aliens forever when they visit earth after the apocalypse. Like what on earth did they use this structure for. To salute the gods at sunrise?

not that the 'freak show' is gone, south africa will go back to being it's normal, full-of-drama and boring self! whoo hoo(sarcasm)

Don't know. The cities seem quieter. As if the life went out of them. Perhaps it is just all the foreigners who were forced to leave.
