Cults have always been with us. We are religious beings and when the religions of the day fail to satisfy anymore, people improvise.
I do not deny the dark side. It is part of the whole and must be faced. We live in a country and continent where people do all kinds of Voodoo, including many Christians and Muslims. It's a study in itself how Animism and Shamanic practices creep into religions.
I am more afraid of materialism and its various tools to enslave mankind. On Cool Town we often encounter the products of mental slavery. Followers of fashion, group think, politicians, chiefs, pastors and imams all cocksure of the correctness of their position.
We live in a dangerous time, but also a time of the great opportunity. Any effort to humanize mankind and rediscover his inner dimension will reap great rewards. This is a fight for the soul. Don't give up.
