Get hold of a 2011 matriculant and ask him a few general knowledge questions. Ask to the same questions to a primary school kid. Then you will see my point. Most tertiary students can't even name SA's neighbouring countries and they brush shoulders with people from those countries every day!

You are so damn right! You are really right! I did test it this morning. But it doesn't mean that these children are stupid or uneducated.Its what they learn on school that they can speak of.

Don't even get me started on Americans! They think Africa is a country. There is a book published in the 80's " The dumbing down of America" Long before the George W Bush era. As for the stupidity in Mzansi, blame the fluoride in the water and OBE.
