That is a very sweet word,and it cost nothing,greeting people everyday just extends your feeling towards people you dont know, and is said with a smile( that is the good side) the bad side is when someone dont acknowlege your greeting...but feel good about it ...they woun`t ,or place a 5c on there working desk,if they ask about it,dont say a word,it will worry them not you........SO SAY HI AND SHOUT IT OUT LOUD.
